Brodēon - Ruméa

Ruméa is a fragrance built around contrast — the bright, almost metallic sweetness of tropical fruit against the deep, resinous warmth of wood and amber. The name nods to rum, but this is not a gourmand in any obvious sense: it is richer, more complex, and considerably more sensual than the opening suggests.

It opens with a vivid, slightly tart accord of nectarine, blackcurrant and strawberry, lifted by rose into something luminous and skin-warm. At the heart, coconut adds a creamy tropical depth — not sunscreen-sweet, but close and intimate — alongside the green resinous edge of pine and the dark earthiness of patchouli. The base settles into rosewood, sandalwood and amber, with caramel and musk giving the trail a smooth, velvety finish that lingers long after the fruit has faded.

In other words... The smell of something tropical and warm, with real depth underneath. Bright on the surface; quietly opulent at the base.
