Late afternoon beside a fire pit, chilled Palomas in hand and garden roses catching the last of the sun. Feu De Rose holds that moment between summer heat and the first evening breeze: cashmere over bare shoulders, the glow of a flame and cedar smoke drifting through the flowers.

The smoky-floral composition brings rose absolute together with cedarwood, styrax and a leather accord. Rose gives the fragrance its floral centre while woods, resin and leather lend a darker texture. It is romance with a little smoke in its clothes - less a pristine bouquet than a garden gathering that carries on after sunset.

In other words... rose wrapped in cedar smoke, with resinous warmth and a leather-like edge.
