Atelier Materi - Cacao Porcelana

Cacao Porcelana is built around one of the rarest raw materials in perfumery — white cacao, hand-extracted from ancient plantations in Piura, north-west Peru. Fermented, sun-dried and roasted to order in collaboration with a French Maître Chocolatier, it yields something unexpected: not the dark, bitter chocolate of gourmand perfumery, but something milkier, nuttier, more intimate. A Proustian madeleine in fragrance form.

It opens with a sweet, slightly boozy accord of white cacao and rum, warmed by the honeyed depth of everlasting. At the heart, Indian jasmine and davana add a fruity, almost jammy complexity, threaded through with the dry elegance of light tobacco. The base settles slowly — patchouli, sandalwood and tonka bean grounding everything in a soft, sensual finish that lingers close to the skin.

In other words... The smell of a childhood kitchen — chocolate, warmth, and something your grandparents wore. Familiar, but entirely grown-up.
